Christopher Gerber

Well its with a heavy heart that I write this message in my blog today. Christopher our son in law has been fighting cancer and has fought for a five year a long battle with colon cancer and now the end is near.  He is home with family and not expected to last but maybe a couple more days .

Update.....

Well it happened this pass Sat. October, 1th 2026.....Chris lost his long battle with cancer and is now home with the Lord.   Angie and his family were there to surround him with love!   His sons Finn & Scout came home also. I hope them all peace as they move forward and go on with there lives. Will have to say that Christopher really loved life and really lived it to the fullest these last few years.

My Mornings

Every morning, after my sunrise alarm clock slowly draws me from my slumber and sometimes  I wake before it even has a chance to wake me,  I quickly get out of bed cause I feel the day goes by sooo fast anymore and I don't want to miss it. So I get dressed and comb my hair and even put a tad of makeup on and head to the kitchen to feed my cat Dew. After I have taken care of him I make sure my bed is made.  Dad teases me and says cause you never know when the bed checkers might show up, and he laughs!  Actually there is another reason I get up early , we have a friend around the block who name is Barbara and she is also known to drop by early in the morning on her daily walk. She doesn't come every day but its on occasion. She enjoys dads company and he likes her dog Abby whom she brings with her to see dad.  She said when she gets near our house on their walk he heads straight for our driveway.  I never know when she will show up but dad certainly enjoys her company and her puppy which is nice.

Yes,we were meant to be....

                             Joe & Dottieđź’–

Joey and I both feel that even before our first conversation…before that first glance…

before meeting each other at Sarah's.....

before our paths ever crossed…

God already knew we should be together and made it happen.
He knew we needed each other.
So now its been 65 years.
My advice is, marry only for love!!
