Football and Archie Manning

Today i watched a documentary on Archie Manning a football star.  Now i am not a big one on sports but honestly this blew me away. All i can say is if you have a chance to see this please do.  I was totally touched by this man and his love for his boys and time spent with them and the love of the game. I could set here and write about their whole life and the sons but won't.  You just have to watch this to appreciate this dad and his three sons and the relationship he had with them.  It is a" Beautiful Story" and one worth watching when you have time with no interruptions.  You will feel and see  this father's love for his sons.  Its very touching!   Also you will hear what great honor and respect these boys had for their dad and the  love this father has for his sons.  There is something very special here we can all learn from this father /sons relationship.  Watch this documentary and you will see why I feel i should post them in my blog and why i cryed!!  ;Beautiful story!!!
18 was his number and two of his sons carryed it on!! Cooper was unable to play because of a spinal injury.
Three sons : Peyton, Eli and Cooper
With Peyton and Eli Manning so successful in the NFL, Archie Manning the QB has largely been forgotten, and the patriarch of the first family of football said he's always been fine with that. "Oh, the years fly by, that's just natural," he said on a conference call in advance of the film's Tuesday night debut. "You know, if it wasn't for Peyton and Eli coming along, nobody would know who I was. Maybe a few people in Mississippi, a few old people.
"I never worry much about that. I always had kind of a philosophy, I really enjoyed playing. Gosh, I loved playing."
He said he enjoyed every step of the journey even though he never came close to the kind of success his sons have enjoyed in the pros, and he's taken great pride in watching his sons excel at the game he fell in love with. Said the only thing that he wanted in life really was just for the boys to feel their dad was a good person!!
