Things I love to do.....
Hang out with Donna
Decorating my home
Listening to Joey play his music
Work puzzles
Keeping a blog
Restoring old furniture
Working Sudoku
Playing Solitaire
Loving my cats
Turn over a new lease
Wait for the dust to settle
Make hay while the sun shines
That's out of the ordinary
Your walking on thin ice
That will break the Bank
Sarah is not well! 😞
She has been in hospital for several days and they didn't know if she was going to make it. She has fluid taken from around her heart, it was a very scary thing, she came out of surgery but she still is in critical condition. Donna went to Indiana to be with her , I would have went but our Jenny came home from California . Its been too long since I have seen her and now so wonderful to have her here. I will keep Sarah in my prayers and hope she can be with us a little longer! Sarah is 87.
A funny thing but weird happened when I went to get my drivers license renewed. I set down in a chair next to this old man perhaps a bit younger than me and I ask the man if he has been waiting very long, and he said not too long and told me his # and that I was right after him. Then he commenced talking to me and before I knew it he ask me if I would go have lunch with him afterwards and I said no I couldn't do that. He then said I was very sweet and could I come visit him and told me where he lived and again I said no.. I said I was married , but he still wanted me to come visit him. He even ask me then if he could kiss me, and again I said nope. Lucky for me they called his # and before he left he again told me how sweet I was and gave me a kiss on the cheek. It all was so weird! Never had that happen before. Totally new experience for me. I was careful to leave after he pulled away in his big red truck. This happened cause I just ask the question how long he had been waiting. All this because of a few kind words. Wow crazy!😯
Well since last posted, Donna, myself and Bump made a trip home because my sister Sarah has been very ill and they were worried about her! She was glad to see us and we her . She has always held a special place in my heart because she was the one who introduced me to you kids dad . I think there is no sweeter person than her and would have to include Joey's mom right up there with her. Both really good women!! She played an important part in my younger days. Often helping me with school work and someone who took time to listen to me. The date here was 2024/ Here Sarah visited us and stayed with us for awhile.
Four days ago after I was extremely sick throwing up and now guessing it was a 24 hour bug then our sweet Plo got sick too.
My Plo ..his name from when he was little and lived with Jen. Jen named him that. Anyway the following day and for few days we pretty much resigned to the fact that he was on his way out but just when we thought it was near over and the end was near our Big Boy did things he never did for five days. I had pretty much given up and crying all the time and had set my mind to losing my sweet puzzle buddy but he never gave up and I never quit praying and actually talked to the Lord and ask him that he would let me keep him a little longer. Just kept loving him and loving on him and crying. Well , I got my miracle and my boy slowly got better and believe it or not I truly knew that the Lord had heard me. He started eating and drinking and slowly came back to me. 😊💖

I REALLY NEED TO CATCH UP!
One night the 96-year-old draws a bath. She puts one foot in a pauses. She yells down the stairs, “Was I getting in or out of the bath?” The 94-year-old yells back, “I don’t know. I’ll come up and see.” She starts up the stairs and pauses. Then she yells out, “Was I going up the stairs or down?” The 92-year-old is sitting at the kitchen table having tea and listening to her sisters. She shakes her head and says, “I sure hope I never get that forgetful.” She knocks on wood for good measure. She then replies, “I’ll come up and help both of you as soon as I see who’s at the door.”
