THE LORD TOLD Lehi to write his history to add to them plus NEPHI also to WRITE UPON THE PLATES WITH HIS HISTORY AND WITH HOPE THOSE THAT READ THEM WOULD BE PLEASED WITH WHAT WAS WRITTEN AND EACH RIGHTEOUS PERSON WHO HELD THE PLATES WOULD CONTINUE TO WRITE AND PASS THEM ON down to us.

SO THEY COULD BE KEPT SAFE AND PASSED ON FROM GENERATION TO GENERATION

THEN HE ON TO HIS SON AMARON AND THEN TO CHEMISH WHO IS HIS BROTHER
THEN IT GOES ON TO OTHERS....A VERY TOUCHING STORY PASSED ON FOR US!

Now King Mosiah comes along...a good king ...He later dies, King Benjamin comes next.

PLATES EVENTUALLY ARE GIVEN TO MORMON AND HE SAW ALL THE KILLING AND WAS HIMSELF DYING AND GAVE ALL THE RECORDS INTO THE HANDS OF HIS SON MORONI.
