House naming started many years ago with the rich people naming their homes. It has caught on and now many people since have been giving their homes names. You especially see it on cottage's. Example: The Jays /Two Hoots, Squirrels Leap, The Nighingale Cottage , The Magpie's and of course The Red Rooster House. ha! If you could zoom in, you can read the sign on our lamp pole.
