Indiana vacation

This is by far the best vacation
                         I have had in a very long time!!!! So much fun!

Kristen The Make up Artist

   Kristen loves to do make up and pedicures and nails and all that kind of thing!  She comes to grams
rescue every now and then. Here she is working on my toes.  She does a great job and spends alot of time on you, likely more than a regular beauty artist!  I want to add some pictures of her here with her makeup tricks and you can see what i mean. :}

The Three Musketeers at Wendy 's

Well thats what Frankie calls us three gals!   Frankie, Donna and Myself.  So The Three musketeers we are!  Felt it was appropriate since its true in our case cause we are
......
                                              "All for One and one for all."

We go out to lunch at Wendy's every now and then and we three always set at same table .  Frankie let them know last time this was our table and that we should have our names put on it. ha.  Had to add Sarah and Dawn in this picture cause couln't find one of just us three right now but have plenty of us eating there ...The Three Musketeers! :}

Donna has a Accident

Seems Donna tryed to help her husband Harley out of the tub and pulled him up from the side and injured her shoulder.  She was in soooo much pain for such a long time when finally she couldn't take it any more and gave in and had to get some help.   After seeing doctor  she had to have surgery on her shoulder and now is trying to recoup and will wear a sling like this for about four months. Now a month more.  Going to therapy two or three times a week. She said  now that she has turned 75 its all starting. ha. Yep, you are right  Donna and we can't go lifting or doing anything crazy anymore. Those days are over for sure! ha.

Frank and Miss D

 Our neighbor Frank recently got a new puppy.  Think he was lonely since his wife Carolyn passed and this seemed to be a good answer to his loneiness!  Here are pictures of the new little one whom he calls Miss D.  Franks last name is Dudley, so this seemed appropriate.






Frank also is good at joking and I have here one of his funny sayings that cracked me up!

You start to complain or tell him something that has happened to you and he will say quote:

"Your story is by far the saddest I have heard today... it entitles you to one hour of consoulance with the clergy of your choice"........it goes on some but will have to get rest of it.
    he can be soooo funny!




                  

Kristen Graduates

Can't tell you how much we enjoyed watching this young lady grow up!  she brought so much love into our home plus laughter and a very special spirit!  I baby sit her in my home from her very early years and  now she is grown up and I am a little sad to let her go! Time moves on! I may not even be able to finish this writing cause so emotional. 
Kristen makes me feel that perhaps in some "small way" maybe I helped her become the sweet spirit she is today!  I did enjoy my own children so much and they were all special to me but sometimes I wonder if  I should have done more or some things different , I really didn't have the example to follow but I gave it my best! And for sure I loved those little children of mine!  We only get one chance to get it right and  having a large family and no training it was sometimes hard to focus on everything thats going on around you.

Todd Graduates!

                                 

Please join the boys and I in celebrating the culmination of Todd's journey of earning his Master of Science degree in Optics. The party will be an Open House, please feel free to stop by at any time. We hope to see you there!

 This was a big milestone in Todd's life!  He  always wants to better himself. We love Todd very much and are proud of his accomplishments!  Once he sets his mind to doing something he always follows it through.
Todd did well in school as a youth and  was very loving as a young child showing his love to his dad and I and his siblings.   He was always willing to work and help us when it was needed. 
As a mom I have sweet memories of how he was always excited to see me when I would pick him up after school.  I was even his den mother for awhile and we both enjoyed working together on projects!
Todd is older now and has children of his own and sure he can more fully understand what a great love a parent has for their children.  Yep, they would gladly give their all for them.

          I been watching some really heart felt documentaries on America.

Love this verse in Book of Mormon  3/ Nephi chp. 33  verse 10.  
A dear brother in church gave a talk and quoted this verse and it almost made me cry.  He said many of us struggle even with living the gospel but these words ring so true.  Here is what he quoted.

VERSE 10    *And now ,my beloved brethren, and also Jew, and all ye ends of the earth, harken unto these words and BELIEVE IN CHRIST; and if ye believe not in these words....(speaking of B. of  M. ) BELIEVE IN CHRIST!  And if ye shall believe in Christ ye will believe in these words, for they are the words of Christ, and he hath given them unto me, and they teach all men that they should do good. 

So I hope no matter what
                           YOU WILL BELIEVE IN CHRIST!
