Steve Todd
Steve is my Uncle and boy does he have stories to tell....I will collect them and you can read them here
one day. Guess in his day he was quite the tough one!No one could pull anything over on him without paying for it! He looks alot like Kenny Rodgers the singer but what he does in restoring old cars, its amazing!!
After done he sales them. Wow! and what a talent he has. I ask him how did he learn to do that and he said while messing around Grandpa Todd's old junk yard. My dad collected old cars like some people collect nick nacks and etc.. Guess Steve played around dads old cars and dad probably said if you sale parts you can make some money. Steve took it farther and today the guy is likely a millionair! Owns property , lots of it around where he lives and even across the highway and he fixes up old antique cars and sells them making thousands of dollars! Here is a picture of Steve and a couple of his projects......he chooses to redo old cars because they make the money. Steve also said he moved two houses out where he lives now and cause the city was gonna tear them down. As he was moving one the police stopped him in the middle of town and said you can't do this .....Steve said "then I will just leave it here on the street." Police said ok then i will have to escort you through. Steve always knew the right thing to say to police or anyone.ha! Steve also built a cabin on his property and it is pretty cool, really nice. love that he built it around a big tree! Said grandpa Todd told him once to play dumb as a rock and repent later!ha! Not sure what that was about.

Family Reunion 2023
Donna , Bump and I left last Thurs. morning around eight AM for Indiana and stopped that night staying over night in Clarksville. Got up and got early start getting into Vin. around noon. We stopped first at Joe's cause Donna wanted to clean up a few things for Joe plus he lives right off the highway coming into Vincennes.
After we spent some time there , Joe took us to my favorite pizza place in Vin. called Bobe's Pizza!
Talk about the best pizza you have ever eaten , it is Bobe's!! After that we took and went to Tammys place in the country and spent the night in the house that Roscoe lived in when he was working but since getting older he has to have care so now lives with Tammy and Steve. Tammy had cleaned his old home and made it really nice and painted and must say it looks so good! Know she was very proud of all the hard work she put into that house.
Next morning we drove to Becky's house and listened to her tell us about her family. Was sad to hear all that she told us and how so many people there in the area were into drugs even her grandaughter and late sister Vickie who has passed and now her son who also has problems. After left her place we drove all around Vincennes to see our old neighborhood that we grew up in and the places we had gone to as young kids and the old skating rack we went to as teens. After that we went out to visit my sister Sarah for couple hours who lives in Sullivan Indiana and then headed back to Tammys. Bump and Donna decided that they wanted to get a good nights sleep and just head back home the next morning.... me I wanted to stay one more day and hit some of the cute shops and thrift stores there. I was out numbered so we got up early the next morning and drove straight through and got home about 11PM. All of us ready for a good nights sleep. 😊
Here are couple pictures of the Reunion. more coming.

Looking back
As time now really seems to be fleeting and going by so quickly I found and like this quote from "Spendor in the Grass"
"What was once so bright be now forever taken from my sight. Though nothing can bring back the hour of splendor in the grass, glory in the flower. We will grieve not, rather find strength in what remains behind."
I will turn 82 next month and I wonder how its possible that my time here now would soon be almost over. Time once seemed to go on forever and have no end.
