The Primary talked about this
.... so sweet I had to blog it!
Why should I feel discouraged
Why should the shadows come
Why should my heart feel lonely
And long for heaven and home
When Jesus is my portion
A constant friend is he
His eye is on the sparrow
And I know he watches over me
His eye is on the sparrow
And I know he watches me
Thought this article very good/ goes along with poem and his being aware of us all!
There is scarcely any sin of which Jesus will not forgive. But he warns us of being distracted by the things of this life!
This often insnares the
poor as much as the love of
wealth does for the rich. But there is a carefulness about these temporal
things
that lure us . He tells us to take no
thought for your life, nor about the length of it; but refer
to God to lengthen or shorten it as he pleases; our time here is in his
hand. Nor are we to worry about the comforts of this
life;
but leave it to God, bitter or sweet. Food and
raiment God has promised, therefore we may expect them. Take no thought
for tomorrow, for the time to come nor be not anxious for the future or
how
you shall live next year, or when you are old, or what you shall leave
behind you. As we must not boast of tomorrow, or the events of it. God
has given us life, and has given us our body. And what can he not do for
us, who did all that?
His eye is on the sparrow, and also on you, He cares about you!
