Our Twilight Years/ Donna and Dottie

I tell Donna this is our twilight years and whatever we want to do , now is the time!  Donna and I often talk about how fast the time is passing and how we are getting older and likely for the most part we don't even realize its happening.  But yes the years are sneaking up on us, and its here. And yes we are trying to stay positive!  I tell Donna she is not allowed to go before me!!  ha. Told her I checked on it and we have ten to eleven good years left to do whatever we want to do. Feel certain she will outlive me. Donna has a real love of life and of people which will keep her moving along like the energizing bunny. ha.

Have this great poem which will fit in here just perfectly here. First time i found it I couldn't stop laughing and shared it with Donna.  We both laughed sooo hard!   I will  also post  a picture of  Donna and Dottie here in our older years.  ha.   Funny how all these years we have been living pretty near each other but never did I dream we would ever end of in the same town. guess it was ment to be!   Its been a blessing for me for sure.  Now for the story.

The Three Sisters /  Knock On Wood
Three sisters ages 92, 94 & 96 live together.  One night the 96 year old draws a bath.
She puts her foot in and pauses.  She yells to the other sisters, Was I getting in or out of the bath?
The 94 year old yells back, I don't know I'll come up and see." She starts up the stairs and pauses:
"Was I going up the stairs or down?" the 92 year old is sitting at the kitchen table having tea, listening to her sisters. She shakes her head and says, I sure hope I never get that forgetful!" as she knocks on wood.  Then she yells, " I will come up and help both of you as soon as I see who is at the door. "
So so funny, shared with Donna and we both cracked up laughing!!
