Good Message

You can only live happily ever after one day at a time!
THINK ABOUT THIS STATEMENT CAUSE IT REALLY IS TRUE!

I'm sure you have heard "Today is the first day of  the rest of your life."  Have you thought of what that means?  No matter what happened yesterday , its gone!  it's past. You may only have today to be happy.  Yesterday is gone, you have those memories and yes its nice to remember happy memories. But today , now its time to  forgive , forget  and move forward.  Every day of your life is a gift from God. We may not have tomorrow .  What can you do today to make life better, be happy, and show love for someone else? What can you do today that you might have left undone to be ready when its time to leave this earth?  today is the day to get it done.
Today ,  don't squander it in thinking I'll be happy when....  remember, this is the day to be happy!  If you need to make things right with someone, do it today,  or if you need to get right with the Savior,  today is that day!   find the joy you are looking for today and become that person you need to become, and it starts now.....   ONE DAY AT A TIME!

A Big Heart !

Thats Valerie/  she really does have a big heart, and not only would she give you the shirt off her back, she has that same love for animals.  She comes to visit her dad and I here in Eustis and said she feels like she is on vacation.  We really enjoy her and often she spends the night with us too.  Our  Maggie loves seeing her and that Big Heart goes out to any stray she sees that has no home.    She said there is thirteen people in her family and i say WHAT?  then she starts to name
them and here our the names:
Joshua
Valerie,
Jacob
Lindsey
Roxy- girl dog, they found on side of road as a baby, i remember how cute and fuzzy she was
Alley - girl dog, neighbors divorced and the man finally moved away and didn't want to take Ally with him
Babyboy- they call him babyboy but its the Biggest of all her cats
Salem-black /white cat that Josh calls  Satan sometimes cause he said he is so mean , found in the engine of Val's car with a note on top of hood/ no wonder he is mean, left behind.
Hitler-  smallest cat but trys to boss the rest of  the cats around
Eeyore & Pooh- from movie"Winnie the Pooh" the babies of Hitler who is  a girl, figure that one. ha.
Charlie -  runs the nighborhood.   Jeana gave this bunny to Lindsey when her first bunny died that she had for the  longest time.  He doesn't stay inside like Buttontails did  but travels the neighborhood and knows where home is,  the neighbors know where its home is also.  He is silver ,gray , and white.
Mr. Guinea- Mr. Timothy McTumblebottoms -neighbors gave to Lindsey.  He was big, lives in the house with all the animals and surprisingly the other animals don't eat him. haha. Val said the big dogs and pets know he part of the family. haha.  funny!  called sometimes Mr. T.  for short.
Buttontails - this was the most beautiful rabbit personally i have ever seen. they had him for along time and he had the longest floppy ears you have ever seen! , He was huge and lived in the home  with all the other pets.  Later died and Lindsey was heart broken and cried.  Jeana gave her new bunny Charlie,  hoping to ease her pain but nothing willl replace the floffy ear rabbit she called Mr. Buttontails.

You will see all these animals as soon as i get them from Lindsey.   PICTURES COMING!!

A prophet speaks of forgiveness

Prophets have come and gone as they will until the return of Jesus Christ. This prophet Gordon B. Hinckley really was a favorite of mine. I remember hearing him speak one evening and a simple whispering of the spirit and I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that this man was a prophet of God.  It left a definite impression on me!

An Inward Healing

President Gordon B. Hinckley

“Most of us have not reached [a Christlike] stage of compassion and love and forgiveness. It is not easy. It requires a self-discipline almost greater than we are capable of. But as we try, we come to know that there is a resource of healing, that there is a mighty power of healing in Christ, and that if we are to be His true servants we must not only exercise that healing power in behalf of others, but, perhaps more important, inwardly.”
President Gordon B. Hinckley (1910–2008), “The Healing Power of Christ,” Ensign, Nov. 1988
